CONTACT

  • I can't go to society events. Does it make sense for me to be a member?
For sure! Society events and membership do not have an equal sign. As a member, you contribute to the existence of the "body" of the society. Administrative costs are covered from the membership fee. The costs of the events are covered by the event participation fee. Only volunteers "work" in the society. During the year, we remember the members with some souvenirs and discounts, in addition, they have the right to vote at the general meeting.
  • I am developing a new project/idea in Switzerland. Could the society help me promote it?
The society is happy to be the voice of everything related to Estonians in Switzerland. We can do this through the mailing list and social media, as well as at our events.
  • I am developing a company in Switzerland. Could the society offer me financial support?
Unfortunately, the society is not able to support anyone financially.
  • I have an idea that I could/would like to implement at one of the following society events. However, I am not a member of the board or the society. Would it be possible?"
Yes, it is possible and very welcome! Feel free to contact us and we will discuss your idea.
  • Own a restaurant/bar etc. Could the society organize an event at my place?
With pleasure! Depending on the size of the room, a smaller or larger event can be organized. Write to us and we'll see what we can do.
  • Could you drink/eat the drink/meal I made at the company's event?
Absolutely! Food and drink are offered at almost all society events. Helping hands and fresh ideas are always welcome. We are also happy to be tasters of some new products.
  • I am not a member of the society. Do I still have the right to participate in the society's events?
And. Members have priority when registering for events, but if there are enough places, participation in events is very welcome.
  • I don't speak Estonian, but I would like to take part in the Swiss Estonian Association's activities. Is this possible?"
Of course. We try to translate during the events as much as possible for husbands, wives, friends of Estonians, so that it would be understandable for all the participants.
